The theme for our message conducted on 22.1.2012 comments with the verses from Lamentations3:22, 23; Job 36:5; Nehemiah 9:17-19. From these above verses it shows us the condition that we are in but it also portrays the mercy that our loving Lord shows on us. When we concentrate on verses from Isaiah 14:12-15 we see how Lucifer was cast down because of pride he had.
But God didn’t show any kind of mercy to him but though we commit the most presumptuous sin still God showers his mercy toward us and forgives us again and again though we repeat the same. We in no way should cast off God because God will forsake us forever which can be seen in I chronicles 28:9; such similar verses can be seen in Genesis 6:5;In Ephesians 4:29; the Lord clearly tells us that our communication should be filled only with goodness. In Psalms 19:14; it shows us the same shadow of the verses above.
When we turn our attention to II chronicles 34:25; here we see how the Israelites provoked the Lord’s anger and fell prey for the Lord’s anger and wrath. Next when we see in Psalms 8:4,5. Though we were created a little lower than the angels still the Lord has been mindful of us. In Exodus 34:7. Here it is crystal clear that no human on earth will be left out of the judgments for the sins he commits will surely be judged from generation to generation. But still in Isaiah 5:7; The Lord shows His mercies towards us. But the most important lesson that the Bible teaches us is found the Matthew 6:14, 15; Matthew 18:35; the same verse is also seen in lamentation: 3:22, 23;
When we move on to Isaiah 30:18; the Lord again tells us that he is a God of mercy and truth. Now let’s see what God says in Micah 7:19, What a Marvelous God is he to throw away our sins in the depths of the sea. In Psalm 78:30. If we don’t leave our lustful and sinful ways then the wrath of God will turn on us Genesis 1:5 even God seperated light and darkness in order to seperated the good and bad.
In Jude :21; likewise we should keep ourselves in the love of God abstaining from the sins of the world and awaiting the mercy of our lord Jesus that leads us to eternal life.
